2016 NFL San Fransisco 49ers: The San Francisco 49ers announced claimed DB Cleveland Wallace III off waivers from the Houston Texans.

2016 NFL Houstan Texans: Wallace (5-11, 177) originally signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2016 and waived on August 3

2014-2015 SAN JOSE STATE: Played with the Spartans as Cornerback position. Cleveland Wallace transferred from the University of Washington. Cleveland Wallace was named All-Conference Honorable Mention and based on personal issues declared early to the NFL Draft.

2014:

  • A Second-Team All-Mountain West selection
  • Shared the Mountain West's top spot and finished tied for 19th nationally for passes defended at 1.25 per game
  • Led the conference and tied for seventh among Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) players with 14 pass break-ups
  • Most pass break-ups by a Spartan since Omarr Smith's 23 in 1997
  • Had at least one pass break-up in 10 of the team's 12 games
  • A season-high three pass break-ups at Auburn (9/6) to start a nine-game streak breaking up at least one pass in a game
  • Also had two pass break-ups in the UNLV win (10/4) and against Hawai'i (11/15)
  • Had his first San José State interception in the season-opening win over North Dakota (8/28)
  • Recovered a fumble at Fresno State (11/8)
  • Season-high six tackles in the regular-season finale at San Diego State (11/29)
  • Had four tackles in the Wyoming overtime win including one on a third-down Cowboys' pass play that preceded the final play in the extra period

Just Lovely Training2012-2013 AT U. OF WASHINGTON: 

  • Played in nine regular season games in 2013 as a fifth defensive back and special teams player
  • Credited with nine tackles for the season with a season-high three in the Oregon State win
  • First major college pass interception came in the Idaho State victory
  • Redshirted the 2012 season and was the recipient of the Brian Stapp Special Teams Scout Squad Most Valuable Player at the Huskies' annual post-season awards banquet

2008-2012 OAK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL: 

  • A football (Coach Jay Braun) and track and field letterwinner at San Jose's Oak Grove High
  • A two-time CalHiSports.com all-state selection that played cornerback and wide receiver
  • Rated as high as the #42 cornerback prospect nationally and the #84 overall prospect in California by rivals.com as a senior
  • Credited with 12 interceptions and 130 total tackles in three seasons
  • Rushed 134 times for 1,177 yards and 10 touchdowns and caught 75 passes for 1,389 yards and 17 TDs.
  • Overall, he scored 32 touchdowns for Oak Grove High
  •  An all-state, Blossom Valley Athletic League (BVAL) Mount Hamilton Division Co-Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and the Division's Sophomore of the Year in 2009
  • Concluded his career playing in the 2011 Cal State All-Star Game in Visalia, Calif.
  • Was a sprinter and a jumper in track and field
